How do quotes and tokens work?
Updated on 16 August 2026
On Dusavoir, sending a quote to a recruiter costs 1 token. Your token balance comes from the packs you have bought: they add up (packs stack) and, in the current configuration, do not expire. When your balance reaches zero, sending quotes is blocked until you buy a new pack.
Every quote sent consumes 1 token
There is no exception: sending a quote always costs 1 token, regardless of the amount proposed or the mission concerned. This cost is explicitly reminded in the sending form before submission.
Your balance comes from your packs
Your available token balance is always visible in the site header and on your dashboard. It corresponds to the sum of the remaining tokens on all your active packs: if you buy several packs, they stack.
At zero, sending is blocked
As soon as your balance reaches zero, it becomes impossible to send a new quote: the form redirects you to buying a pack. Your previously sent quotes remain unchanged and continue to follow their status normally.
Frequently asked questions
Do tokens expire?
In the current pack configuration, no: tokens purchased remain valid with no time limit (each pack shows "Valid with no time limit" on the Packs page).
Can I get a token back if my quote is declined?
No, the token is consumed at the time of sending, regardless of the quote's outcome (accepted or declined).
Are free quote tokens offered at sign-up?
Signing up itself is free, but it does not automatically credit any tokens: you need to buy a pack to be able to send a first quote.
